Gesticare DHA Prenatal
Gesticare DHA Prenatal Review
There is nothing more soothing and calming, than holding a brand new baby. Their skin is so soft, and they smell of a mixture of baby shampoo and baby lotion. When you experience this for the first time with your brand new baby, you will know that it was all worthwhile.
Getting to this point of sheer bliss, can be stressful and exhausting at times. But making sure that your nutrition is on par, and that you are taking the right prenatal vitamin can help this transition be a little easier. Gesticare DHA Prenatal is a prescription strength supplement that contains two different capsules. One is a multi-vitamin, and the other is a DHA soft-gel capsule. DHA is very important for the growth and development of your baby’s eyes and brain. The multi-vitamin contains a delayed release formula to ensure that maximum absorption of all the nutrients takes place and the DHA capsule is citrus flavored to help mask the fish taste that some DHA supplements have.
Gesticare DHA also contains high amounts of folic acid, and vitamin B6, as well as the high-quality ingredient Choline. Choline helps the neurons fire faster in your brain, and helps improve long-term memory. However, CoQ10, Inositol, Ginger Root, and probiotics are all missing from Gesticare DHA.

Is Gesticare DHA Prenatal Expensive?
Since Gesticare DHA is a prescription strength prenatal vitamin, the cost of the supplement will vary depending on your insurance coverage.
Is Gesticare DHA Prenatal Safe?
Gesticare DHA is a safe supplement for you and your baby. However, you may experience the following side effects including nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort when first starting this supplement. These should lessen or subside with time.
A word of caution, is that if you have any bleeding disorders, or problems with your blood clotting, you should not consume more than 3 grams of Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) in a 24-hour period. Also, the amount of calcium in Gesticare DHA is way below the recommended amount for women who are pregnant, so an additional calcium supplement should also be taken if you take this prenatal vitamin.

Is Gesticare DHA Prenatal Right For You?
Choosing the right prenatal can be overwhelming. We all know that our optimal goal is to get to the moment of sheer bliss when we can hold and cradle our precious little baby. Knowing that we did everything possible to get to that final moment will make it even sweeter.
As a RN in the OB/GYN field, I have a hard time recommending Gesticare DHA as a high-end prenatal supplement. It is missing too many of the essential ingredients that are so important for you and your baby. Don’t you want to give your baby the very best? Then don’t settle for mediocre, when you can have it all.
